Carrying the Mic Forward.

Honouring the legacy of Dylan Willows by empowering emerging musicians through mentorship, education, and community.

Our Why

The Dylan Willows Foundation for Music (DWFM) was established to honour the legacy of Dylan Willows, a beloved voice in Victoria’s music scene and a tireless advocate for local artists. For over 20 years, Dylan brought music, stories, and people together on the airwaves and in real life. He had a gift for hearing potential in people and helping them believe in themselves.

Today, we carry that mission forward.

Embodying Dylan's spirit, DWFM empowers young and emerging musicians in Victoria through mentorship, education, and opportunity. We believe that music has the power to transform lives and that every artist deserves the chance to be heard, regardless of background or circumstance. Whether it's helping someone record their first demo, learn the ropes of the music business, or take the stage for the first time, we exist to nurture the same community Dylan so passionately championed and to ensure his love for music continues to echo into the future.

Dylan gave everything to the music. Now we give it back.

OUR VISION

A vibrant future where every young artist in Victoria has the support, education, and opportunity to shape the sound of tomorrow.

OUR MISSION

To honour Dylan Willows’ legacy by empowering and educating emerging musical artists in Victoria through mentorship, resources, and community-driven programs that amplify their voices and nurture their craft.
